Forman Brothers Theatre, Prague

Deadtown

We are at the dawn of the 20th century. An actor, illusionist and owner of a cheap cabaret in magical Prague is acting out his dreams. He is obsessed with the technical miracles around him, film, photography and the scratchy sound of the phonograph. His dream is to drive across Arizona, drinking whisky in a saloon with weather-beaten gunslingers while holding gorgeous women in his arms. At least, that is the image he has in his mind from ‘The Wild West’ silent movies and from old yellowed photos which tell stories from a land far-away. Because he lives life on a line between illusion and reality, it isn’t hard for him to travel into his dream world.

Join the illusion when Forman Brothers Theatre from Prague dazzles us with a 5-piece orchestra, puppets, singers, dancers, illusionists and acrobats.

Look forward to amazing experiences with a rare and wonderful form of theatre.
