’Silence Makes Perfect’ is a musical drama performed by singer Yael Rasooly and pianist Amit Dolberg, a drama about a suppressed child prodigy and abuse which will not remain silent.
With arrangements of music by Debussy, Stockhausen, Schubert, Kurt Weil and others, this ’requiem to the stolen naïve world of a child‘ turns into a torture chamber, with puppets made of ruined musical instruments and pieces of a brilliant career which never succeeds.
Beautiful and disturbing theatre. A strong addition to the debate about sexual abuse.
