Goodbye Mr. Muffin
Mr. Muffin has a pain in his stomach. He has had a good life, better than most. He makes a list:
- a very smart and kind wife
- a little house with its own mailbox
- four small soft furry children
- mail coming to the mailbox once in a while
Once Mr. Muffin was young, strong and proud. He could carry an entire cucumber on his back! Now he is tired and old and he sits alone in his house and remembers. With warmth, humor and respect the story is told about the last days in the life of a dearly loved guinea pig. Mr. Muffin is not well and is going to die. It is very sad and everybody left behind is grieving. But Mr. Muffin has
led a good life and maybe death is not something to be afraid of.
