Enter the adventurous world of paper – a fragile but valuable material that can be folded, shaped, crumpled and cut in all sorts of ways. Paper! Paper! Paper! No paper-no permit. The destiny of the immigrant depends on proof – in black and white.
Belonging explores and expresses the feeling of arriving in a new country, what it is like to arrive in a new country and try to gain a sense of belonging. The puppet show is based on the stories and memories of immigrants and refugees. Today, we often focus on the negative aspects of immigration, but surely immigrants can be an asset to a country and contribute to a positive development and diversity?
