The Nurses is a theatrical installation combining light, sound and clown like nurse puppets. Unlike traditional puppet theatre, The Nurses has no puppeteers and no actors. Instead 25 identical nurse puppets stand suspended in animation and varying decay. They are fixing, testing and preparing each other in a never- ending production line.

Since their creation in 2015, the nurse puppets have proven to be politically relevant time and time again. Witnessing the constant relevance and reoccurring narratives of under valued and under resourced healthcare professionals, Teater Animisme restaged them as an installation, combining them with light and sound to create this darkly comic almost insane scenario.
